Joris
6 persons are killed in London today in the first V1 attack. 10 V1s are fired, 4 make it across the coast, 1 hits London. The first of many attacks on a nation thought to be safe after the start of the invasion.
martylee
I read that a total of 9,521 V1's were fired against Britain during the war and that it caused a 22,892 casualties. Marty Edited June 13, 2010 by martylee
Tony B
I belive more were actually fired against Antwerp than London. The forward progress of the Allies drove the launch sites back. Was there ever a mobile launch for V1 , other than from the Heinkel 111?
