Meteor mark 4B
01ZR15 was an AVRE. About 10 years ago it was at Liscombe Park in a private collection. Can't recall where Liscombe Park is. Perhaps 01ZR14 was also converted into an AVRE. It's a possibility.
Meteor mark 4B
I think Liscombe Park Bedfordshire was where Tanks-a lot originated, which would make 01ZR15 the AVRE that was restored on TV. As far as I know it served in the first Gulf War...........but this isn't helping to locate 01ZR14!

steveo578
RE 01ZR14 try looking through T numbers at bovington.- It is possible that a T35- record card may have the ZR number annotated but it would require going through all the cards as the ZR regs are not in any logical order, this would probably require a visit as I doubt the Library staff would do that kind of search. If its a Tank I cannot understand how they can't find it.
agripper
I was told when I got in touch with Bovington trying to trace mine that they carried little info on the ZR series of tanks. Still trying to get more info on mine. If you have any luck. Please let me know where you got this from will give them a try myself. Good Luck. Meteor mark 4B
Have you tried the Royal Marines Museum at Southsea? Or the Royal Navy? After all BARVs were more to do with them than anyone.
