Karoshi
Well as events go......... it wasn't much of one. You may have driven your MV to work on the 6th June, to celebrate another important day in history, but what did you do today? Why ? Well its OFFICIALLY Veterans Day. We pay homage to all vets in all conflicts. What do you mean ...you didn't know!

Jack
Yep, drive the Jimmy to the office again today  For me, we now have three dates to work with, D-Day, Nov 11 and now verterans day.Whys do we need another day? Surely Nov 11th is good enough? Will this new date just dilute everything...............? I am still going to see if we can get some sort of drive, momentum on getting our vehicles out on these days, I am thinking the Nov 11 is the day. Enigma
Here in the Netherlands Veterans Day is June 29th, offcourse not a national holiday :argh:... Like 5 May (our liberationday), TV commercials urging people to remember and celebrate BUT since 1995 not a national holiday anymore :banghead:...and we haven't got many national holidays. Dutch (governmental) HYPOCRISY at its best.....
