welshbayonetww2
Hi, I'm particularly interested in Camouflage markings . Mont'y's jeep ( shown in the wartime jeep in british service) show's what looks like a random 2 tone colour scheme, but I've also seen some others with " mickey mouse" pattern. I'm looking to repaint my jeep in British colours. Anyone recommend a good book with colour photos or have original photos I could see? Rick W
There is the book British Jeeps in wartime, but it doesnt give you much of a hint. There was a thread on here somewhere showing a Brit jeep in the desert using desert camo somewhere.

welshbayonetww2
Thanks 25pounder for posting those pics. Nice jeep, what paints did you use?
25 pounder
Actually , we did it in a hurry to get it ready for Normandy , last year. The Jeep had US registration numbers , on olive drab , and we only added the satin black "Mickey Mouse" ears , to it . No particular numbers of paint were used , common black satin.
