plainmilitary
Finally got the pictures of my bro lastnight, I have noticed on the back of some of the photo's there is a MoD Crown copyright. How do I stand if I publish them to the net? Eventhough they have been thrown in the bin, as in the case of most of these one's, will I get my ar*e kicked if I post? Most of the pictures date back to the 50s, 60s and 70 with most of the subjects having been in the public eye for years. Most of the time I would not worry about posting old snaps on line for the reason of no copyright, but this Crown copyright has got me stumped. What would do? Snapper
Crown Copyright remains active, so you would effectively be in breach. The archive is now held at that huge place the MoD have in Bristol. I don't know how they police this stuff, but I'd be cautious...
