Benleroy
Hi' Can anyone help me identify this jeep canvas. It's the first time that i see a cross on the window. I'm sure that's not US but according to some people, it could be from a limited UK production for the jeep or French (Indochina period). Many thanks, Benoit

Jessie The Jeep
The canvas I now have painted checkered had an oval window with straps across, and I was told that it was British when I got it. It also has the same press stud fastenings for the bows.
Benleroy
I've asked the same question on G503. It appears that the canvas is British made, mid 1950's. Many thanks for your help. Kind regards, Benoit.
Jessie The Jeep
I also found that this British canvas roof is two or so inches shorter than my standard one, and was a real struggle to get it hooked over the screen studs.

Same thing for me, really hard :banghead:
Richard Farrant
Same thing for me, really hard :banghead: Probably shrunk, when making things in canvas an allowance has to be made for shrinkage.
