chevpol Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Morning all  just a quick one before I go to work. has anybody got any piccys, measurements etc of the GPMG sustained fire tripod? I am thinking of trying to make one for my display. many thanks Mark Quote
john fox Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 I have one at home. If you can wait until the weekend when i get back there I will do some piccies. What measurements do you want, and how accurate do you want the mounting to actually be, just enough to sit a gun on or a fully working recoil mechanism for example? Quote
chevpol Posted September 3, 2009 Author Posted September 3, 2009 (edited) Hi John, leg measurements, piccys of the leg hinges, and the tray, enough to sit a gun on, at the back of a display, I have a wooden jimpy, so as long as it looks good thats ok. john fox Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 cheers for that, looks like it is a bit more complicated than I thought Mark Hi Mark yep , its no 30cal mount that's for sure. 3 legs, 3 fake locking levers for the legs then 2 x 22mm copper pipes, a couple of flat sides and 2 T&E knobs ought to do it for something at the back of a display :cool2: Quote
