    Steve, I can't remember but is the sump plug magnetic. As we all know, it is not a replacement for a filter but it is amazing the amount that the magnet catches.

    Just found this on the Army Guide site (http://www.army-guide.com/eng/product967.html):- The Fox has now been phased out of service with the British Army with some of the turrets removed and fitted on to Alvis Scorpion CVR(T)s which have had their turrets removed. These vehicles are then known as the Sabre. AND A small number of Fox turrets were fitted on FV432 full tracked armoured personnel carriers. Perhaps Brightwells were confused because:- All of the welded aluminium turrets for the Fox light armoured car were manufactured by Alvis Vehicles.

    Can the speed limiter be re-calibrated to 55mph? If yes, would this affect the insurance as the DROPS is no longer to the original military specification?

    I doubt, that many members of the general public are going to know that it is copy unless you tell them and having the correct receiver, morse key and headphones will really add to the display.
