    What a shame , my parents visited this year while on holiday and said how friendly and accomodating the staff where ! Hope all the vehicles that where on the to do list there are still to be preserved ! I really enjoyed seeing the museum on the TV rebuilding the Comets also !

    Good to see a man who saves historic aircraft for future generations ! Where would we be now without the same type of chaps who preserved the Spitfires and all the other great old Warbirds all those years ago ? :-D

    Hi John , yes I am planning on a visit ! The museum looks very interesting thats without the bonus of a Scammell photo opportunity thrown in ! :-D Not sure which day will be the best for Scammell activity , any inside info mate ? :-)

    Might be a bit premature to say but a fire can occur in any vehicle and to me it looks like the skipper may have beached her to allow the passengers to escape the fire ! Just my opinion of course ! :-D

    It is possible to retain your HGV licence into your seventies I believe , a yearly medical is required though ! :-D
