    Also note its fitted with a SUIT sight,did that come with the gun,if so being old spec and with a SUIT I dread to think what it cost:shocked:

SMOCK COMBAT Reversible olive drab/white CM8415-99-130-2131 SIZE 170/112 Looks like he has stumbled onto a potential Gold Mine but they really should be described as Post Falklands:undecided:

    Probably not what you want to hear Craig,cannot remember where i read a review on one of these SOF A2s but remember the comments regarding how awful they were with the leather being cheap and nasty and the finish sort of painted on and not dyed as better quality A2s would be.

    MArtyn,the old type of helmet was British made(used to have one unissued in its box but long sold im afraid). The HMAK ones are indeed Danish,now if they are just ex Brit ones sold to the Danes and re issued or newly made by the Danes i dont know but all the Danish stamped/marked ones i have seen have a nasty thick textured paint coating on them,not saying they are all like this but ALL the ones Ive come across have been.

    When i joined the ACF in 1986/87 me and a few mates were issued with the brand new DPM Cadet Smock much to the horror of the other cadets who had old battered Green Windproofs.

    Where on earth do/did you get all this amazing kit from????? The pouches i have with reinforcements to the lid arent metal,they are the red fibre type material,same as used for the MK5 helmet liner spider.

    Similar to how i search but when Panzer Nut claims 10 a penny i think of for example 68 Patt which is indeed 10 a penny on Ebay but not the reversibles:cry: Also as i wouldnt mind a cheap pair of the trs i did contact Sabre and they have no Jackets or Trs in stock.

    Every day is a school day:D:D:D:D Was always under the impression that CS95 was all ripstop,remember years ago i had a combat jacket and while liked the features etc hated the material. Hmmmm,would never have dreamed either that any of the items were rare and pretty sure somewhere i have a pair of unissued trs.

    Please excuse my ignorance as im not really into 90s gear as such but i thought that all CS95 gear was Rip-Stop?

    Next time any of these appear on Ebay,either this type or the earlier labelled type can someone please point them out to me as I still stand by what i said in a previous post that I have never seen any on Ebay before in 10 years or so and I regularly scour Ebay so dont know how I have missed them:red::red:

    You could say that about anything that sells for stupid money on Ebay,look at 60 Patt smocks etc. Those Reversible Jackets are rarer than most items,I can honestly say in 10 years or more that is the 1st I have seen on Ebay. Even though in my opinion it is a rare garment is it worth that much,not to me personally but as we all see on a daily basis Ebay has gone mad;)

    I cant help noticing that everyone is mentioning large/larger sizes-what is the fascination/obsession with this?
