  1. I will see if any of mine are close to hand.
  2. Dominic, dont know where you have seen the US ones but the 2 i saw yesterday from the same seller were 110% definitely British ones;)
  3. Not sure of the correct type/pattern but commonly referred to as Aertex shirts. Not the easiest of things to come by but then again not the rarest either.
  4. Nice, got a couple( and the matching trs) as well. Noticed a couple of nice ones listed on Ebay yesterday.
  5. Theres one on Ebay at the moment-£46 and climbing.
  6. Great stuff-Thanks. It was bought out of curiosity thinking it was a civvy jumper until it arrived and I got a nice surprise:wow:
  7. On the subject of MK1 58 Patt ive always gone by Howletts book(not that keen on the Europa series of webbing books to be honest). Regarding the ammo pouches ive always been led to believe that there were only 2 types, early that were smaller, straight belt hooks, reinforced larger top pouch sides and the strap and buckle arrangement inside the pouch, later pouch, larger, angled belt hooks etc etc. Well, just got a couple of oddities-British issue(not foreign)CN numbers, dated 1965 by ME Co and exact as the early pattern other than the top flap sides arent reinforced and same size as the later pouches so seems that there were at least 3 types and not 2 as always believed.
  8. Any chance please you can reply to the messages ive sent regarding payment for the web set you were after going back around 2 weeks now, either way if no longer wanting it can you at least let me know please-Thanks.
  9. Thanks for the info,so its an early jumper and not many around?
  10. Heres a new one on me,never seen one of these before---
  11. Wasnt the Vickers HMG still on limited issue early 70s?
  12. Other than the wedding where has everybody gone????
  13. Excellent, and from the pics the kidney pouches look like the early 1st type as well so a double bonus. Found the Denim trs,no damage, couple of missing buttons but they do have the seams/crease sewn to the front. White label is mostly faded but can make out the size which is a SIZE4-im a 32 waist and just tried them on,snug fit.
  14. Love the pics,do you still have the bergen and belt kit?
  15. Yes Alan, they come with the buckles that were on them when i got them many moons ago. Will try to find the Denims and get back to you.
  16. Found the buggers at last:cheesy::cheesy::cheesy: VG condition apart from 1 period in service patch to the left knee.Butons missing off rear pockets but should have replacements.
  17. There is a KD version of the jungle trousers....usually lacking the large left leg map pocket. Pretty sure i have a couple of pairs somewhere of the KD cross over trs, with and without pocket.
  18. Yep,same as with the compass and bino pouch the twist fastner was also used through out on the small pouch(later removed completely).
  19. The compass and binos pouch retained the twist lock closure throughout and unfortunately arent rare in any way or form BUT do as is Ebay these days seen both occasionally go for seriously stupid money:nut::nut::nut:
  20. Unlike the hoards of so called "RARE" 44 Patt Waterbottle carriers that are constantly on Ebay these i would say are much rarer and not often seen in unissued condition-or at least until i got these i had NEVER seen an usinssued one in many years of collecting.
  21. Got these last year(only just came accross the pics again). Not often these crop up so was well chuffed to get these beauties-ALL 6 unissued,by the same maker and all dated 1965 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
  22. I definitely have some spare, its finding them thats the trouble;)
  23. Bloody hell, hope its not you thats still bidding on those Ebay trs, mine would be cheaper(when i find them!!!)
  24. Never seen one of these Bergens before in my life and within the a short space of time now have 2 of the things:cheesy::cheesy::cheesy::cheesy::cheesy: THis one unlike the other has the info printed inside the top flap but unfortunately its waist belt is missing. The 2 side pouches seem of lighter more flimsy material than the others. Cannot find any printed markings but written in red on rear of one pouch is--NEW SIZE(GIRTH+25MM).
  25. Think i also have a spare pair of the OG Denim Trs as well(no leg pocket).
