  1. Do you have an item number or link please? Thanks
  2. So mine, being identical to later dated helmets could possibly be a trials helmet due to the date? Thanks
  3. Thanks. I always thought NP but was just having a sort through of various bits and found one dated 1984/5 and made by N.E.I ELECTRONICS LTD MOULDINGS TEXOLEX. Its a shame really as on the collecting front these have little interest and are pretty much worthless value wise which is a shame as they were a very important step in evoloution of British Military Helmets.
  4. Any ideas please when these entered service or were on general issue and any ideas of makers please?
  5. Im a bit confused on what exactly this type of Bergen is and also the PLCE type pouches with the press stud closure as i hear the term "trials" and 85 Pattern-were/are there 2 different types or are both the same just named differently by collectors???
  6. Many, many years back i had 2 MK4 shells without the rim and sold them off as i thought they were missing the rim but have read somewhere, either on a forum or in an article somewhere that they were made like that.
  7. Untouched by myself, like it a lot and the belt has the early black fittings not the later green anodised ones.
  8. Hmmm,Cyclops ROCS,i have 2,not sure of size and they are issued/used but sure at the right price one could be sold, not for £500 unfortunately for me:cheesy::cheesy:
  9. Just having a sort thorough and came across these-as RAF stuff isnt my thing,no idea where they came from or anything about them. The chromed pair have nothing stamped on them that i can see unlike the black pair---
  10. Were the webbing waterproof lined "SAS" E&E pouches an issue item or private purchase please as ive just scored one but no markings etc. Also, are they 58 or 44 Patt? Thanks.
  11. Also seems a bit optimistic on the prices of his Cadet smocks maybe??
  12. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160778074534?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_500wt_949 Any ideas/thoughts on this??
  13. Also on British Jungle Boots isnt the tread pattern the same as on the DMS boots?
  14. Just came across this-had it for a few years(cannot remember from where it came) and appears to be similar.Unfortunately the label is missing and my cap has a wire brim.
  15. Very very nice, will be interesting to see who the winner was;)
  16. Nothing special about this other than nice to see a date for a change
  17. Any chance please of the item number to have a look?
  18. These appear to be a brown colour and not black.
  19. Not sure-SOLES,VULCANISED maybe???? They are the term used to describe the WW2 era boots used by Commandos-basically Ammo boots with the leather soles replaced by the Itshide commando type soles. Also have some post war DMS type boots with the Itshide type soles-NOT converted DMS boots but made this way.
  20. CWW-are these the same as the SV type boots?
  21. On the subject of boots,i also have somewhere a pair of unissued DMS and a 60s dated pair. When were the DMS introduced into service?
  22. I have a used pair somewhere that i used to wear regularly in the winter, will have to dig those out and compare. I always thought that the MK1 BCH had the DMS type heel and the type like mine were the MK2-never BCH came with speed lacing, thought that was an Assault boot thing?
