  1. I have 3 or 4 of the Green bottles but have never personally come across a mug myself
  2. I have quite a few bits of green PLCE that have either no markings whatsoever in VG condition so doubt worn off through use or as your holster only have the round inspectors mark.
  3. Luck sod,if that was on Ebay how did I miss it:cry: All I have is the shoulder strap thingy. Will try to dig it out and see if its stamped etc.
  4. I have never understood why they are so keen with measurements such as the arse anyway as you were generally given a quick look up an down and thrown whatever the QM deemed would fit you so they could have saved a lot of hassle and money by making them in less choice of sizes!!!!
  5. Have just dug out a smock of mine(allbeit a 60 Patt) and has its original chevrons which are of the WW2 style but smaller and roughly the same size as yours.
  6. Was it HMK or HMAK as the Danes used a lot of 44Patt post war and a lot of thier kit is stamped up HMAK.
  7. Thanks Paul. Just checked and turns out I have 2 of these Cold Weather bags:-D
  8. Been searching high and low for any info on this type of helmet and have come unstuck. Only pic I could find was of an Australian wearing one but doubt mine is Aussie due to it having an NSN??
  9. Will post some pics when I can dig them out. 1 is the Std type, other is slightly different, cannot remember exactly in what way but from memory dated 70s and labelled again from memory Cold Weather. 3rd,and this could be the special one is std 58 Patt dated 1960s and has a DPM waterproof base to it.
  10. Cheers, had heard about the tan/sand coloured 44 Patt but this weird green stuff is a bit of a mystery:D
  11. Now have 3 of the above sleeping bags and all 3 slightly different(1 possibly quite special:-))-was there an ARCTIC version of the bag made?
  12. Anybody know anything about the 44 Pattern webbing that is around in the weird puke/mushy green colour with no markings/stampings etc etc supposedly a foreign contract, loads of waterbottle carriers around and ive just bought an unissued man pack carrier of which all of the straps are in this green colour and are made of a webbing more like 37 Patt than the usual 44 Patt type???
  13. Never heard of them before so cannot comment but hope you get everything sorted.
  14. Same for me. Have a couple of jackets somewhere and another pair of trs but cannot find the damn things:-D
  15. Just dug out a pair of my trs and for the life of me cannot get a decent pic of the label--- Appears to be TROUSERS FOULWEATHER OLIVE DRAB 8405?????????? SIZE 2

  17. I saw it but didnt know what it was so passed, plus pretty much ANYTHING rare on not Hogspear sells goes for big money so didnt even keep it in my watch list. Glad it went to a good home:laugh:
  18. Im opposite,as I already have 2 of the small flapped pouches(now 3) it was the other type I hadnt seen until now and typical for that one to have no or faded markings:mad: My set of trials webbing is only lacking a Waterbottle pouch and yoke for the Bergen side pockets then im done.
