There was a local shopping centre a few years back did a Christmas promotion invloving a film about a Reindeer and friends. The advert on the back of the bus had the sexiest looking Fairy in short skirt with legs up to ....... The advert was removed after about ten days!

A lot of farms used old or re-cycled timber. In Devon near Totnes it was the custom to take green timber down to the river to season and buy wood from the ships brocken up. Trouble was a lot of it was so salt soacked the animals chewed it. Donkeys years ago we took down an old wattle and daub barn on the edge of Dartmoor. The timber roof beams were reclaimed for a restoration project. It was as solid as stone, took diamond tools to cut. The wattle and daub was fine until you cracked the outer plaster, then a few days of rain, and it just dissolved. My family is Monmouth based, near Abertillery, my Mother always said there was England Scotland Wales, and Monmouth.

Knowing the engines a hell of a sight more responsive than any Land Rover disiel.

Just got a card from a friend in New Zealand, illustrating their Christmas, beach , ice cream SUMMER! Mind you the Hot Steak and Cheese pie sounds good! (Found a recipe going to try that) :-D

OH GO AWAY! :cry: It has the Isuzui engine hasn't it? I had a Range Rover with a similar engine fitted, loved it! There was a Perentie on test at Chertsey at the time, so I phoned them and asked were there any problems with the engine? The reply was 'Don't overfill with oil'. My engine did 500,0000 mils that I know of.

Seconded! Though Number One Son has just announced I'm to be a Grandfather next year. At my age? How am I supposed to cope? So more expense coming (Though the Dodges are safe for the next two generations.

Very un PC! Can you use the term Fairy now? As for MVT related ornaments, a Jeep looks good under a heavy tree! :cool2:

There are a couple of Humbers there. A friend was intrested in the very nice Humber Radio truck, so was I. It is a wodden pick up body.
