1. thanks, but sadly they are streakers, that have the auto box, and cummins engine. These are extremely difficult to road register (over width) Terry
2. Still trying to find one. Does anyone know of one for sale?
3. Nice tidy Stormer wanted. ready to buy now and can collect swiftly. Many thanks Terry
4. I have complete hubs, axle arms, and torsion bars if you need any... Terry
5. I think the front end scrapes and general condition show that it had recently been purchased from a corporate entertainment 'personality' The new barn roof, and lack of stuff under it would tie in with this? Terry
6. The local council has increased the council tax on the old tin cowshed I store my vehicles in by £8500. Has anyone else been hit by such ridiculous prices? Terry
7. no, just stood astride it, leg either side-key thing is to tap the spindle out with something that will sit in the pivot holes. That way the hatch can only open and close-it can't fall out. for added safety I would suggest a couple of wooden blocks over the open and closed side, so if you drop it, or need a rest, the hatch can rest on these still slightly raised. remember to tap the spindle out of the first pivot, placing a bar or similar in the hole. Tap the spindle back flush to the second pivot to allow spring replacement-that way you still have the spindle in one 'hinge' and a good solid bar in the other 'hinge' good luck ps-if you need a spring, contact 'H'
8. Hi Ray, same thing happened on my 432-easy to do though. Take off spindle end caps, hold hatch vertical, using a long 1/2" drive extention, drive the spindle along untill it sits flush in the last hinge position. Slide the extention bar back to the first position. lift out the old spring, fit the replacement (you will have to open the hatch to the fully open postion) and tap spindle back in have done it on my own-but easier with a mate! Terry
9. Nice vehicle. I have always wanted one of these, but could never find one this side of the pond-if you guys ever want to trade for up and running British armour-let me know!! Terry

12. It does look very much like the ricardo engine from WW1 for the early tanks the layout and flywheel arrangement are very similar Is that a clutch in the flywheel? Terry
13. has anyone looked at these to see if they're complete or runners? Terry
14. has anyone looked to see what condition the CVRT's are in? Terry
15. Yippee!- count me in! can't wait to get back there. I always thought the hop farm a laid back event, with flexibility, tolerance, and Rex has always been an excellent organiser and host (could anyone else do such a great job?) Note to the new guys-drop the vehicle entry fee It takes a lot of time and money to prep and bring armour to a show, so organisers can then charge for people to come and see your vehicles Armour transport-providing transport costs will bring a lot more tracked vehicles back to the show result-more arena action, more statics-more punters=higher gate revenues....... polishing up me armour------- Terry
16. in very good condition, working, no damage.
17. variants were used in the CET, and on many generating sets-and have seen them advertised by many breakers on ebay.
18. I have oil filters, both the element and spin on type, if that helps. terry
19. Mk 11 is the same as Challenger 1 and has the same PSU. Door switch is contained within the flip lid togs control box which sits atop the emergency turret power junction box, between commander and loader. I have a working togs set up up here-you are welcome to come and have a play. The camera box has two access hatches opened with a key-you can then see if the tish head is still inside. regards Terry
