    St Georges Day

The points you quote are (as far as I know) all correct; but to me your post misses the point. I'm proud to be English (and British). As a country we need a figurehead, but ultimately thats all it is is - a figurehead. St George happens to be that figurehead. So every year I will raise my glass partly to St George, but more than that, to England. I respect your viewpoint Mike, but I will never agree with it.

  15. On stainless steel I have used bead blasting to dull down the finish, which worked superbly. I've used the same principle with alloy, but great care obviously needs to be taken due to the material being softer
  16. The pub I was in at the time was very calm :-D Only kiddin'
  17. Thanks Neil, Hippos are rated as 10 tons, so that may just be enough to carry all the nappies we'll need for War & Peace! It has to have been the calmest and most relaxed birth ever, incredible
  18. Yep, have'nt been able to stop grinning for some time now!!!
  19. I think Mrs G506 may just brutally murder me if I invested in a Dodge right now, although certainly a very practical truck!
