Any pictures of Ferret MK2/3 06-CC-27?

Hi all, Our beaver could do with a new clutch - can anyone point me in the right direction? I have been told that they have a multiple plate clutch, and have been advised to put a single plate in it - Is this true? If so what cover assembly should I use? Thanks, Simon.

I wonder if they fancy taking a few days out to look at my ferret when they're done... :cool2:

Thank you, I have been told that only 6 were made - it sounds quite unlikely, but I haven't seen another. I have also read elsewhere that a handful were made for the MOD operating in Norway? again - I don't know how true that is. Its seems to be an oddity and it will be getting restored and used, its in good condition and has been kept very original. There is cab heater and a few modifications to engine to aid cold weather starting. I have owned it for less than a month, the picture I uploaded was it being delivered

Hi all, Does anyone have any in service pictures of the beaver? - More specifically, the rarer vehicles fitted with cabs and winter kit- As I believe, they were all originally posted to Norway? I am on a desperate hunt for pictures and information on '02 FZ 88' I can post a current picture of the forklift if that helps?

stollys are a great choice, there where two on the IOW £1000 the pair, needless to say they disappeared pretty quickly for that money! the ad is still on milweb - I looked at them and was tempted to buy them myself but decided to avoid the wrath of the good lady - I bought the eager beaver on the ad instead!

can't remember the name of the shop? Afraid it was a one off though, it belonged to a worker and he let the shop display on the wall. I guess the sling and cap gets lost when its flies off prior to being fired. I'll keep my ear to the ground for another tube, I was only after one to display with my MUTT - pm me if you want me to send some pictures/measurements of the sling and cap, would be fairly easy to make a new one up.

The chap that sold it to me reckoned it was heat seeking but am I right in thinking that 'HEAT' stands for 'high explosive anti tank'

afternoon all, After a mosey round a surplus shop I stumbled across this and bought it. Am I right in thinking L1A3B1 was the English designation for the M72 LAW? Here are the pictures, what do you think?

This A2 has a common problem, repair section after repair section just welded on top of each other, this has created massive mud and water traps, not only rusting away the floors, battery tray etc, but also corroding the 'main chassis rails' in localized areas. [ATTACH=CONFIG]65384[/ATTACH] The only solution is cut everything and start from scratch, The more rust you cut, the more you find, this vehicle looked better than it was, but it is still well worth restoring, this vehicle will require a lot of metal work (the one pictured on its side earlier in the thread) but is actually quite straight. Good man, its when you start sneaking it indoors the trouble starts - I currently have 2 newly painted U.S. jerry cans sitting on the aga drying, the good lady did not see the funny side, I think the fact she tripped over a mutt grill in the porch before realizing them there was catalyst enough for the cold shoulder, needless to say, I ended up cooking my own dinner tonight. :whistle:
