  1. Hi Louis The head lamps are CAV ( have the round badge on top) BUT, they are mounted from the bottom, not trully right for the Humber, as Humber CAV Lights are mounted from two side 'stalks' i have one original, but looking for another. if i find one more the two on mine now will be spare. Made some more good progress this week end, will up load some more pictures soon. Jules.

  10. Hi All HELP !! today, i thought i would get my Humber 4x4 out of the garage and give it some fresh air............ though i have started her over Christmas, she has not moved since November time. She started on the button, but................. clutch pedal down, select reverse, grinding of gears....... tried again, making sure the pedal was right down, same again, tried forward gears, but still the same grinding. So, i checked the clutch pedal adjustment, not that there was a problem last time i drove her. I switched off, selected reverse, tried to start her and she moved on the starter motor......... What can of happened ? i'm sure the clutch is depressing ok, though i can not see, but i can feel the resistance. might the plate have stuck ? how do i release it, ( please don't say take the engine out !) all good ideas or reasons gratefully excepted ! cheers Jules

  12. Hello Chaps having finished my 16h i have decided that i need a side car outfit for it, that means i can drive/ride it on my car licence without the bother of getting a motorcycle licence. question is, where am i going to find a suitable example, would any 1940's side car fit ? or does it have to be manufactured by Norton ? all help gladly accepted. here is a photo of what i'm trying to achieve.
