This has been discussed before on the forum, if you post the exact details of what you want to mark the truck as I will try to help you.
-
Mark, if you need to change a wheel on your own use two bars under the bottom of the tyre to lift it on , with a bit of practice it is quite easy.

If you are an MVT member you can get a deal on Brittany Ferries, you book with the ferry co. then let the MVT guy know and he arranges the discount.

I remember standing looking at the same view in 2004

Didn't know Shell made suits and wellies, thought they were a POL company, :? :-D

Hand in the tax and declare SORN, as regards your insurance, normally if your vehicle is insured to tow atrailer then in an accident it would be covered third party but you need to read the small print on the policy and then probably clarify the situation with your insurance company.

Jack, can't help with the clothing unless you shrink a few sizes but you are welcome to my carbine, knife, belt and suspenders, canteen etc if you can find some way to get the stuff from up here in the wilds.

I have always understood that it is illegal to A-frame a jeep unless it is broken down and being recovered or its braking system is linked to that of the towing vehicle.
Maximum towing weight for an unbraked trailer is 750kg after which overrun brakes are permissible up to a maximum of 3500kg, above this weight the trailers brakes must be liked to the towing vehicle in such a way that they operate when the footbrake is applied. All these comments presuppose that the towing vehicle is plated for the appropriate weight.

Jerry, be careful about galvanising the bulkhead, they tend to distort because of the heat generated and can even become total scrap.

I always thought it was illegal to wear medals that you hadn't earned.

Canadian Ford or Chevy but having consulted Vanderveen the likeliest would seem to be a Ford 602L 3 ton 4x2 chassis

The multi fuels are well suited to running on contaminated fuel ( the stuff thats drained off when petrol has been put in a diesel or vice versa), the recovery firms are awash with it and give it away free.

Part of the fuel/air intake system?

WWII Vehicle Signs

Hi Marco The bumper markings would start on the passenger side with the division no then a sall gap followed by the regiment no, on the drivers side it would have the company letter followed by the vehicle no.
Example 1-32F C7 This would mean 1st Infantry Div, 32Field Artillery,
C Battery seventh vehicle.
For your vehicleit would start with 30 followed by the regtand company etc that you choose. The bonnet no cannot be known you will have to make up a suitable number.
Hope this helps you, if you need more help perhaps one of our Dutch friends can help by translating for you.
