  1. In answer to your question: The Next County! There can be some real as....... who make loud noises till dawn break and fire PARA flares which scares the life out of all the sober people in flamable tents. Quad bikes tearing up and down the tracks. Jeeps parking right next tothe toilets churning up the mud so no one can walk there, Drunk owners racing large scary vehicles around site. etc etc. So realy why the heck do we keep going back...lol Expect to loose some sleep. Jon
  2. I couldn't remember if it had the lower pockets or not. Knew the upper had been sewn on. Jon
  3. Not 100% sure, so Dont quote me just yet. But there may be the Speacial measure as well.
  4. "Game shooting"? Is that what you called the locals...LOL Jon
  5. Mine are size 22 which are a 36" waist (need to put a gusset in to fit me ( ) Someone told me they went up to Size 27. The new Metric sizes also I think are in 27 sizes on a similar size basis. Jon
  6. We have never found a 1970/80's House wife yet. Ours are either Dutch or W.German. No one has yet said that they are wrong. We got picked up for not having one untill i got the German one and included it in the display. Jon
  7. The example of cadet uniform we have is 1982 dated from a cadte manual, it does not mention anything DPM. The DPM is proberly a later thing. The Cadet DPM windproof smocks dont have any pockets and the example we have, has had pockets sewn where the chest pockets would be on a norma windproof. Ta Jon Eaglehurst Were ok for the mo, I am trying to work out what I'm doing..lol Jon
  8. We had two out of Sabre with the Perspex and covers last year. Ta Jon
  9. They are quite common. We picked a pair up at Beltring one year believing them to be '68 Patt but they did not have the shell pocket. Will see if I can get my mate to look at his label. I know another friend have two pairs. We also have several other ACF bits and bobs. Have you seen the ACF section on the Forces80 website? Ta Jon
  10. The 1968pat hood does not fit the 84 pat jackets. you will have to sew an extra button at the nape of the neck in order for it to fit corectly. Ta Jon
  11. Yes it is a '84/85 pattern Smock so your date line should be right. Ta Jon
  12. Thought it was a max of 40" waist but then again I have lost a little weight. You could try putting in a gusset (I think thats how you spell it) or alternativly either go on a crash diet (Tried that myself ended up putting on more weight..lol) or use repro lightweights which cover the size you need. Ta Jon
  13. Size 9 8595/9505 was the largest available. Any thing that did not fit was made to order. Jon
  14. No need to import, I have a full set of ex.NVA Folding furniture if you are interested, Pm me
  15. It is exactly the same as the normal Mark 2 windproof n that 84 pattern material that is not as squishable as the 68's. But it has no wire in the hood just the draw cord and just the rank slide on the front. Recently much to my suprise some Mark 2 SAS trousers also have apeared on Evilbay with the cross over belt etc. I did not know that they existed. Jon
  16. One of my friends has a mint MArk 2 windproof smock which I am sure says Smock, Windproof, SAS. It has a draw cord hood and a slide on the front but not the rear. I will get photos in due course. Jon
  17. Looking at the material used I thinkthat this one is a later pattern maybe using the 90 pattern material what with the ochre colour on the reverse of the pattern
  18. Dont you just hate some people
  19. Roger Your thoughts allways cost me money, do you have any cheaper thoughts... Jon :cool2:
  20. A little investigation by myself and airportable leads to the following conclusion. Private purchase item. The Smock is a 1980's comercialy made item available to members of the armed forces. A bit like silvermans...lol So not exactly nod issue but just as good. Jon
  21. A interesting label for you in a 84 Pat PARA smock, the epualette buttons are Brown. Any thoughts??? Ta Jon
