  1. Speak for yourself. I'm ''in this'' because I have an interest in the vehicles and the history. I certainly do not do it to display to the public.
  2. Yes, I made ten. If anybody needs some........
  3. I think it's a Caterpillar 20 from around 1927 - 31.
  4. Tuba launched, Optically tracked, Wire guided! I always wondered what TOW stood for....
  5. I made the junction boxes, though the terminal blocks are original. I'm not sure who Carl used for the cables, I'll ask. You're certainly correct about the fitting out, it takes a lot of time compared to the major items. Sourcing parts and in many cases just having to have them made as originals are very difficult to find is a good way to lose a few days!
  6. Lastly for now, the turret has also been receiving attention with the fitting of the balance weights and cover props. The turret will be completed including the gun before fitting to the hull.
  7. New electrical boxe and aa load of flexible conduit have been made up and are in the process of being fitted. The 19 set has also had its first fitting.
  8. The propshaft and clutch lockout cables are all in. The cables had to be newly manufactured.
  9. Progress has been mainly in the restoration of systems lately. The new header tanks I made along with fire extinguisher system parts I supplied have all been fitted.
  10. And just like magic...... these are the sockets Adrian is referring to and the plug on the panel where they fit. There are four of these in total.
  11. Not much beyond what has been said. I understand the owner is fed up with being asked and they are definately not for sale.
  12. Those photos were taken in Blésignac, Aquitaine in France. The M3 is actually an M31 TRV and is one of two there. The interesting Sherman is an early M4A2 with aftermarket applique armour.
  13. The split axle transfer case is known to be noisy, this is normal! The banjo axle case is quieter.
  14. You can't 'make' horsepower! You can increase the torque using gearing but you will always lose power through friction etc.
  15. Doug, I have drawings for these as I'm going to be making some. I'll send you some scans. Adrian
  16. Doug, here are the pics I sent before. If you need any specific dimensions, let me know. Adrian
  17. Doug, did I not send you some pics of the bracket last year? If not, I'll find them and post them.
  18. That's a much better explanation, thanks Chris!
  19. My nearly three year old daughter can count to 12! Her cousin, also nearly three can only count to four. He lives in New Zealand.
