  4. Ok, grandfather joined up in the OxonBucks infantry, but then there seems to be confusion about wether he was in the Royal Engineers? Could he have been made an RE in the regiment?

  7. Any tyre place should be able to take them off your hands for about a fiver, though saying that, I tried to get our tyre disposal poeple to take the old Morris tyres and they wouldnt have them, dont know why. Our local tip/recycling place has a place for tyres, try that.

  16. Done a search for Ugo Pavesi, came up with an Italian website. Ive only ever seen one book on the Pavesis, that was in Italian so I presume from the same book.

I liked the idea of an HMVF only show, but thinking about it that might be construed as being a bit elitist.MVT Imps members etc might feel unwelcome, whereas a general MV show everyone can attend. You could be in danger there of splitting the "traditional" groups, or alienating them from using web based forums like this. I think being a member of MVT and HMVF complement each other. Although I do think some people have yet to realise this, but through no malice, it just depends if you are familiar with the internet and using forums. Just my thoughts.
