  1. There was a stall at W+P that was selling Brens, was it Marcus Glenn, lots of them, boxed about £300 each.
  2. I may be a bit thick, but trying to understand the VCR bill and what it entails is a mystery to me. Ive never owned a deac but considering getting a bren mount and accompanying bren for the Champ. Obviously I cant go driving down the shops with it mounted, but do I need to be registered? Does the gun need to be registered with the local rozzers?
  3. I asked someone about companies building replica bodies for it but never got an answer. Be interesting to see how you get on, please post any links.
  4. Its not rotting in a field somewhere, Mike has taken the trouble to put some money into getting it roadworthy, another vehicle saved. All due credit to you Mike. What about the Stretch tank at Tanksalot?
  5. Dont worry about your questions, ask away, thats what this place is for. Welcome aboard and post some pics of of your vehicle!
  6. Very impressive! Please keep us updated.
  7. Charlie Dimmock would have that out, stick some dowel rods in the holes and have water squirting out the top. Alternatively you could just place it in the middle of your lawn with rods coming out as if it were floating in your garden...
  8. Si its in a beach presumably. looks deactivated, are you gonna dig it up and use it as a garden ornament?
  9. Too true! I never knew there were so many types out there, looking for a 39-45 one. Thanks for the leads guys.
  10. Welcome aboard. Great pics, we all like to see photos.
  11. I need that t-shirt! Where can I get one?:-D
  12. Inspired by the need, other than 2 feet, to get around shows like W+P Ive been looking at getting something like an autocycle/Norman Villiers and the like. Anyone got any hints, pointers, know of any for sale etc apart from evilbay?
  13. Welcome aboard, have fun, wings or wheels.
  14. Ernest Hemingway on the left...
  15. I tried grit blasting with a small compressor in the garage at home. Complete waste of time unless you have something like a twin cylinder and a big tank. Even with our comps at work it takes time. So if you have a big job it pays to find a pro.
  16. Too much info for the mind to comprehend! Ive queried the price with the W+P office and they are looking into it. I must say Im impressed with speed of their response, so thumbs up for that.
  17. I was a bit gobsmacked at being charged £105 for what was in effect 1 nights camping and entry fee, with only myself and my car to support. I queried this with the W+P office today and they said that it was the right price to pay for camping for the week, wether it be one night or 5. Can anyone else post up examples of what they paid please? Thanks.
  18. I was put in the support camping area, I may have to fire off an email to question this. I wish my other half was half as open minded as yours Chevpol!
  19. It cost me £105 to camp for one night and entry. It has to be the most expensive campsite in the UK!
  20. The only roadworthy venicle Ive got at the moment , is the Champ, which is undergoing a repaint to get rid of the hammerite and underseal over the body the previous owner coated it in! Next year maybe, unless I can get a px on a Ferret!
  21. Educate us, what metal plate and what does the number signify?
  22. M25 was gridlocked today, if thats possible on a circular car park, so be forewarned.
