  13. I was down at RR last month and was told they fetched £60,000 each, the only thing that was done to them was to make sure the engines ran the rest is upto the new owners. Was also told Mike was thinking off keeping 2 or 3 for himself.

  15. The information I was given from a friend in the midlands area was that the MVT was going to donate a sum of around £2000 and this was to be done through HMVF.
  16. I think you will find that was the Essex MVT that was making a direct payment to the NVA as they did not want to go through HMVF.
  17. I heard a rumour the other day that an MVT Area was about to make a large donation to the HMVF NVA appeal, I think the MVT Com. were due to discuss it at their November meeting, any of the Area Secretaries or anyone else on here know anything about it ? .

  19. I am sure Paul Thompson had a MK5 which was up for sale some years ago. Not sure if it has a new owner now or not but havent seen one at a show laterly.
  20. Going back about 8-9 years ago i was offered an armoured RL that needed a fair amount of welding and restoration but at that time i was just looking for a straight forward RL now looking back i wish i had gone for it, we live and learn. :cry:
