We'll be sure to go to Slapton Sands and walk the Moors.

Didn't notice it was a replica Chaffee.
Is the turret original or also replica?
-
Amazing to find a truck as complete as that.
Looking forward to the restoration thread.
Good luck and enjoy the work.

We're planning on a trip to a friend in Dartmoor later this year.
What's to see or do in the area?
Doesn't have to be only military, pre-historic sites, touristy things etc.
Fire away...

Looks like it just crashed on the trailer...
-
Wow, its a work of art in its own right.

Thanks Enigma, can't really complain 15 odd years. :-D When I electrified Katy I got a coil from Frank Jolley, Katy goes like a rocket so I'll contact him. Nice to bounce ideas of knowledgable friends,:
No worries mate.
Lets hope that's the problem.
Electrics can confuse things to no end.

Our Dodge did the same.
After excactly 43 minutes of OK driving it sarted to go south, every time.
I replaced the coil with a new of the same brand/type, 1-1/2 hours OK then ^%&$#@
Replaced it with a different make/type and no more problems.

Good find, amazing what is out there to be found.

Seems ok now....that engine sounds very nice, keep up the good work, lets see it moving under its own steam!
Indeed, it works now.

The link doesn't work.

Well done.
Hopefully it will get up and running soon.

Welcome.
I'm sure the Dodge owners might be able to help.

Amazing artwork.
I liked that I had to watch a few times to see al the planes on it.
-
Maybe they still had a supply of the older turrets left and put them on new hulls because of a shortage of the 85 turret?
-

Tanks and such seem more prevalent over there than mushrooms .
