Hmmm, well actually I haven't painted one yet.
I didn't overcharge Joris... :-( he is a freshly married man now so he needs it when pans go flying.....
Take into account it can get VERY hot!!!
Last year the heat knocked out a lot of people, 1 even died. Guess he wasn't prepared for 35 Celsius heat and sun.
Never participated myself, lots of serving soldiers also march.
I've seen a Mini Jeep body here in Holland at a MV dealer.
Don't know how much it costs and you'd have to get a chassis, engine and axles.
Guess my nephew would like it, hell I'd like it for myself...
For WW2 people they have good price/quality ratio.
Not as expensive as a Jeep, not to big, reasonable fueleconomy.
In Holland we only need a normal carlicense.
Spares readily available and lots of room inside.
Hmmm, they tend to get very expensive if the corkpaint is ok as well as the straps.
Check E-Bay.
Those Fixed Bale are vulnerable to breakage.
Or you order a repro from me marked as almost anything you want.
Not WW2 but great for re-enactment....still pricy though.
Because it was such nice spring weather yesterday we took our Dodge and Jeep for a drive.
Here some artistic pics.

Twilight Zone!! :shake:
yesterday when we drove our MV's we were saluted by a elderly man.
I wondered about the origins of saluting....now the answer is here.
