  1. Think I still have some HMVF Flags.. will have a look tomorrow..
  2. I do have the full info from the trader that the pyro was purchased from but won't go into it here as now subject the HSE inquiry... I can say though that Tim/Sarah is (supposed to be) Pyro trained & should know better.. 04:15 http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b037b0h1/South_East_Today_24_07_2013/
  3. Another bit of bad reporting by the press... Also Sarah Bluck used to be Tim Bluck...
  4. There again they put the "Church of Scientology" in a prominent position so I guess anything goes at the W&P Show these days...
  5. Enigma wasn't singled out If any one thinks that Tony they are wrong, it's simple, the organisers had a chance with a new show to stomp on this, they didn't. The problem lays with them, if they are happy to nvite the vehicles such as Olaf's and others then there is little that will change.. I will think seriously about taking any military kit next year, even with the very high cost of public camping it will work out cheaper and far less hassle ..
  6. It has been & this subject comes up every year, we were was just waiting for you to have a dig Degsy, surprised you waited so long
  7. I think it would be an empty field.. unless it was a field of civvy vehicles pretending to be ex-mil..
  8. Easy, a vehicle that is still serving or has served with an Armed Force at some time in its life & has the provenance to prove it. Replicas are fine if they are of a very rare vehicle & are displayed as such.. Don't agree with Civvy Landys or Jeeps pretending to be ex-mil, there's plenty of ex-mil landys & jeeps out there..
  9. Could you recommend a Military Show in your country that I could bring my Ford KA to & park amongst the MV's?? I haven't washed it yet after W&P so it's in Gulf War guise
  10. Totally disagree Tony, Olaf point was costs.. Why should we spend many hundred coming to a show & others can turn up in their civvy vehicle & display amongst the MV's.. Also many have to pay £30 for a support pass to park in the support carpark, If those marking up their civvy vehicle are using their vans for that purpose then they should be paying for a support pass like others..
  11. With respect Olaf, there are many without MV's that attend the show, They pay For Public Camping, If everyone did the same as you do then there would not be many MV's at the show.. Transport, Fuel & tolls to get kit to the show this year Was well over £500 As said before it costs people many ££££ to attend the show, I know people in the UK that have MV's that would like to attend but can't afford it but they don't go marking there Civy vehicles up.. The organisers are to blame for not stamping this out from the start, the answer is unless you can prove that your vehicle is a genuine UN, Military Police etc vehicle they should not be allowed on the exhibitor field & should be charged to go in the public camping area..
  12. I was pointing out that was the NLBA's display that's all Clive...
  13. You can do it online http://www.militaryandflyingmachines.org.uk/#entryvehicle
  14. Think that's way they chose him/HMVF
  15. If he wasn't he should not of got it... It was mission impossible to get Jack there to receive his award.. We were told if he was not there then he would not get it... Good to see they kept the list elitist Still think Jack & The Members of HMVf are amongst the most worthy..
  16. It's brilliant, A baby is born and all wars etc have ended... Mist be true as nothing else in the news
