  1. It's been some time since you posted, I hope everything O.K. I have seen picture's of a Diamond T in the Western desert campaign and through into the mud of the Italian campaign with part sections of German Panzer mk 1V tank tracks wrapped around the rear drive tyres to aid traction the same as Scammell's. They would have been heavy to handle.
  2. Hi Dai, the frame is in a box under some other things. I do not have a trailer. It will take some time but I will see if I can get some better pictures. Regards John.
  3. Terrapins were an 8 wheeled amphibian designed by Thornycroft, powered by 2 Ford V8ts I think. Used late in the WW2.
  4. At that millage the running surfaces have not hardened up yet. A proper bark is still developing from the engine.
  5. 24 GN 09 was used driver training in Yorkshire for some of its time in service. I wonder if yours was as well.
  6. There was a one of these trucks being transported on the M6 in south Cumbria this week. Apparently it had been a long term resident in Workington along with a MK3 Militant.

  10. A small bronze belt driven pump without any markings and a cup greaser.

  12. Two types of Perkins fuel lift pumps one with a two stud fixing with a glass sediment bowl, the other with a 4 stud fixing without a sediment trap. Also a Brass 2 and 3/4 inch pump or pipe blank.
  13. A short prop shaft I cannot remember it is either a Bedford QL or Ford WOT6 gearbox to transfer box drive shaft. Closed length approx 32 and 3/4 inches. Just make an offer if any use to anyone.

  17. If that was in the U.K. native tin worm would have had most of the cab. Some other interesting vehicles there as well.
  18. I would ask your paint supplier or local paint shop what temperature they run their paint booth at for modern paints. I would think the can would also have that information on it.
  19. If the exhaust is glowing red check the timing.
  20. Keith at Sleeman Hawkens has come up with the spares, some new and a used starter ring.
  21. A lot of RL,s have been shipped abroad. They are still about but you have to hunt now.
