    I only bought the lamp as a show piece have a good quality lamp if needed to work at night, got mine about half the price of those on Ebay, one sayng new had crocodile clips not the pins

    Thanks for the advice will try and find a wiring diagram to see which fuse is relevant

    I have had another look after the comments, the "grommet" is actually metal, the spots on the cable are rust, no signs of grease, the hollow core also appears to be the same colour, need to clean some rust out of there. My go to B and Q to see if that paint machine can help

    Not sure if this is in the right forum, I have just bought this lamp for the land rover, it looks as though its unused and been badly stored, half of me says clean the just off and paint the other half says leave alone. The question I have is what colour paint is it? BS number would help if I say it looks gloss mud would that help? richard

    The tractor seems to have left marks as though the ground is soft so wouldn't the Vulcan wheels bog down?

    Can I suggest if the plate is still on the vehicle that you get a picture of it as well? Also any details of the history. If you only have the plate any indication of which vehicle it was attached to. Just the plate by itself does not give very much help especially for researchers.

    Thanks, as I have said on other threads learning, buildings and building regulations I can give answers, engines need help. Why screened plugs? is this something to do with the electrics generated similar to a magnet?

    No idea what vehicle to be honest, will get a idea of parcel delivery and work out a figure only would ask for what it cost me and postage
