I purchased a book all about the red ball express during ww2 - to find a picture of a convoy of Reos in there as well - don't you just love researchers !!!!

Hi  

What is the name of the book?  So the rest of us can avoid a poorly fact checked book.  In the defence of the author it might have been the publisher who inserted an extra or "better "  photo.

I've seen this more times than i care to mention. I've also been the one to stop it happening on a few occasions.

My favourite was an article in the Daily Fail recently about a new book on 617 Squadron with a photograph of "Guy Gibson and his crew". The crew in question was Big Joe McCarthy's and the "Guy Gibson" which they identified (second from left or somesuch) was McCarthy's bomb aimer.

My daughter gave me an Airfix model of my Land Rover and Penman trailer, according to the literature the trailer floats, mine has manufactured drain holes, also the leg supports are shown in a different position from the real one
