Ron
Here is the latest pictures of my BSA-Indian Special. It's looking a lot less like military parts now. I'm definitely not used to all this bling!! Ron

Ron
Not much happening here on the motorcycle threads. But I might as well post pictures as I arrive towards the final stages of the build of my special. Unfortunately the saddle recover guy is holding things up now. Ron
I know there's not much interest for this here! But it is all military. It's running now and sounds just like it should.....A concrete mixer! I can't ride it yet as I had to alter the gear change lever which has gone back to the plate shop. I'll post these final pictures and then get my coat. welbike
Ron, looks very nice!! just like it could have been commercially available in those days. With the headlamp back a bit, it's really nice, the lines and all. Did the gearshift pedal hit the footrest hanger? Cheers, Lex
Niels v
eventhough its not green, its very pretty and well looking :cool2:
Ron
Yes Lex I had to curve the gear change lever a bit and some blow holes in my welding have had to be rectified and back to the plate shop. Thanks Niels! I was sorely tempted to paint it army green and pretend I had the only BSA/ Indian get together prototype from 1943. But that would be lying and I also needed something shiny for a change. Ron Edited November 4, 2013 by Ron
Niels v
Your welcome, Yes some times shiny is need, the reason I have Triumph TR2. But I like that you are keeping it in a periode correct look.
