  14. the chassis number is stamped into the chassis on the near side front near where the chassis plate was
  15. C8 diff ratio is 6.57:1 The axle code is usually stamped on it on the n/s top
  16. it seems a bit strong putting it in the hands of your solicitor which will probably cost more than the bill. I have also received a invoice I phoned the ferry coordinator and explained I had already paid and he was going to check with the ferry company. As far as I am aware he was doing the ferry booking as a volunteer and should be praised for all he did not criticised.

  18. you need to take out the gearbox to access the spring on the top of the release bearing. it's a good idea to make up a couple of studs to replace the top two gearbox bolts to save putting excess weight on the gearbox shaft. it's quite easy to do
