tim gray
Hi Jules, Does the C8 not operate on an electrical switch on the back of the master cylinder then ? Or are you converting to a pedal switch? Dont have a C8 so asking out of curiosity. Regards Tim
thedawnpatrol
Tim No, it's not on a master cylinder switch. on my last one i managed to fit a lever type microswitch so that when the pedal was depressed it made contact. just cant remember how i fitted it ! Tony B
The QL has a similar system. How me and Phil got round it was to buy a cheap pull to operate micro switch. This was fitted under the chassis and a metal rod fited from the switch down to the operating rod of the brake. When the operating rod goes forward the switch is pulled on. Not original, but no ones sees it and it works.
