Davie Posted February 12, 2011 Share Posted February 12, 2011 Here are some more pics of the Hawick explorer. Previously it was at Whitrope railway heritage centre near Kelso. They had been gifted it and, I was asked by a friend to go and see if it would start. A couple of decent batteries and she fired up instantly, the engine is a sweetie all right. Pity about the rest of it, the rear prop had been removed and the output coupling on the gearbox was wobbling all over the shop. I tried driving her, but it was sitting in a dip and front wheel drive only was not enough to get moving. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
