I have just received the key card for the Champ this morning. Usual thing, disposed at Ruddington. There is a coloumn which is titled R.V.No. , and in this column for mine is written ASC/R/5100 . What does that mean. Apart from that it doesnt give any details to who it was attached to. The Champ above it has s/o BAOR CR, does that indicate mine possibly would have been BAOR?:coffee:

It appears your vehicle would have served in B.A.O.R, though with which units, at this stage of your investigation, is not known.

s/o BAOR, means :struck off Of the B.A.O.R assets register. I do not know what CR means.

Hope this helps. :???

Rick,

I recollect that RV is Receipt Voucher, this is where the vehicle is recieved from the manufacturer, ASC, refers to the RAOC Vehicle Depot which it was delivered to, in this case, Ashchurch, near Tewkesbury, Glos.

Thank you both. Is there any way from here that I can find out what unit it served in?
