antarmike Posted December 28, 2008 Share Posted December 28, 2008 (edited) A bad two day period for the Zeppelins, L24 L17 28 December - Imperial German Navy Zeppelin L 24, LZ69, crashed into a wall while being "stabled", broke its back, and burned out together with L 17, LZ53. L38 29 December - Imperial German Navy Zeppelin L 38, LZ84, damaged beyond repair in a forced landing (due to heavy snowfall) during an attempted raid on Reval and Saint Petersburg.
