gazzaw Posted July 8, 2008 Share Posted July 8, 2008 Hi Can anyone help me find, or even send info on (Diameter, sizes, length etc), where to get the 2 longer bolts (UNC?)used on the internal ebrake - they are the longer ones that go through the brake backing plate and the Transfer case cap (housing) and into the transfer case itself. There was no EBrake on my 43 GPW at all nor the proper housing for any type of brake. In reality it would be the external contracting type but thought the internal one a better option for reliability etc. The ones in the catalogues and parts lists (and I have had numerous ones from Jeep Parts and other places) are about 1/4" too short - even though I go on to retailers and tell them this they only seem to have ones for external housings etc.:???
