The New Forest Remembers

 

64th Anniversary of D-Day on the 7 and 8 June

 

Watch World War Two history come to life with living history re-enactors, military vehicles, displays, memorabilia, 1940's dance, stalls and much more.

 

Saturday

 

• 1pm - Guided Walk to D-Day remains at Lepe
  
• 2pm - New Forest Band playing on the cliff top and veterans reminiscing
  
• 3pm - Parade of Standards from the coast guard cottages into the park, led by the Caledonian Pipe Band
  
• 3.15pm - Cliff top memorial service with laying of wreaths
  
• 7.30pm - 11pm 1940’s Dance at the Waterside Theatre with Pete Weston Big Swing Band. Tickets: £8.50, contact the park office to buy your tickets now!
  

Sunday

 

• 12 noon - Guided Walk to D-Day remains at Lepe
  
• 2-4pm - New Forest Band playing on the cliff top
  

Other activities will be happening throughout the weekend between 10am and 4pm.
