FV432 Injection Pump Rack/ Fuel Stop Solenoid

Recommended Posts

I popped round to help out a friend who could not start his FV439, and noticed the Fuel Stop Solenoid was not engaging, after plenty of WD40, away she went.

I did have the cover off the rack, and noticed  both here and the Fuel Stop position linkage had not any grease in sight, and know that my FV432 had a clear type of grease applied on the moving parts, knowing this as an important area that needs attention...

I was hoping that someone might be able to advise, both myself and the wider FV430 members, as to the type of grease that needs applying, as it does not seem that the standard grease

is correct.

Any advice, much appreciated.

Richard
