Thank you, I believe they were slightly longer but I do already have a template strap for the late WD/CO 🙂If anyone wanted a set.

This is the works RAF contract picture Ron. Looks like a rubber band. And considering that the WD/CO has a conical downtube, pointing to the bottom, I can't imagine that the leather strap will stay in place for a long time...

Here are two types Sam. The first ones are the generic ones that I use. But you have to be carful about buying them, because there are lots that are just stamped out from hard neoprene sheet and have no stretch to them. I've never bothered with the loop affair shown in the first listing!! Ron
