johnwardle
Have you tried Crouch Military? As the Leyland Daf DROPS is now coming out of service you may think that all the spares would be coming on the market, but believe it or not the MoD contractor for disposal of vehicle spares is VEOLIA!!! Yes the waste disposal company, so what is the chance of these spares being available to us that need them?

attleej
When going to a DAF dealer, try to have the Leyland DAF part number from the parts list and don't roll up asking for a wiper motor for a DROPS! Unfortunately, the T45 range of vehicles is very rarely seen on UK roads. John
radiomike7
I think this is the one, HAH8187Y01 but check first. If not Dave Crouch can probably supply a used one.

I would believe anything when the MoD is concerned but the DESA info suggests that Veolia only deals in waste. They cover thenselves by referring to 'special waste' which could cover just about anything. DESA contractors Each of the DESA contracts have been competed through the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) tender procedures, and are regularly audited against strict contractual obligations, and are compliant with environmental and health and safety regulations. These contracts not only supply a collect to dispose service, but also offer a wide range of refurbished items for sale and ensure that the minimum of assets enter landfill.
