Rick W Posted September 2, 2007 Share Posted September 2, 2007 The jeep chassis and running gear, with assorted bits of rusting bodywork arrived today. I had that feeling the same as when I bought the Morris, hace I done the right thing or bought a lemon. Im hoping Ive done OK. :dunno: The chassis seems fairly solid apart from the tubular member at the front, which has suffered the ravages of time and is fairly iffy at one end. If anyone can help to confirm any details of this Id be grateful (you know who you are!).Vehicle no. is 81 YH 19 with a chassis code of 136630. It is a major project, but with prices going the way they are I need to get on the ladder somewhere. Will post pics of assorted bit of metal and start in restorations. Apparently it originated from a tank museum around Suffolk way.
