abn deuce Posted August 25, 2007 Share Posted August 25, 2007 I have seen a number of posts about them over here and a couple of notes about using the wooden steering wheels from the 1 1/2 ton Chevy but that its a bit smaller in diameter making turning a bit more of a work out . To get back to your question , They are not common at all very hard to find my Jimmy has a Plastic steering wheel so if a wooden one were to show up at a affordable price I m gona grab it !!!! I have seen a few photo's of bare spokes so those are around but No ones making repros yet perhaps the legal liability keeps anyone from making them ???
