MARTIN CROSS Posted July 22, 2007 Share Posted July 22, 2007 Hi Just returned from the wettest Beltring I can remember in 20 years. Hope everyone enjoyed it. The old chestnut of ' 'they' are checking Reos again', was doing the rounds. Anything in it? I was thinking of buying one so would appreciate some advice. As the holder of an 'old' licence I can drive up to 7.5T MAM (Vehicle weight plus maximum load) unless it was made before 1960, when there is no limit. So if I want to buy a newer one it seems I will need to get it plated to a lower MAM. Has anyone any experience of this please? Some websites offer this as an exercise in paperwork rather than a physical alteration. I am considering a workshop body and converting to motorhome with appropriate MOT.
