US unit markings?

Hi guys, picked up a Bantam trailer recently with markings on rear as 1A 38C C15 can make an educated guess however not really up on markings but would like to know exactly what they stand for.

It translates as 15th vehicle troop C 38th Cavalry Recon Squadron 1st Army

I just bought a Bantam trailer with something that seems to be its original marking on it. It is written :

USA 

016854

AB 51761      H19

Any idea of the meaning ?
