Petelgv1
Ron Charlton ran this on Recovery for Welch's Transport of Stapelford. He is in his late 80's now. His son Terry has brought the Ward we have now as a memory for Ron. Now all the old pics are coming out Ron ran it with the original cab for a while and then decided to graft this cab on. I'll try and find out what this cab was off.

Petelgv1
Well done, today I found out it is a heavily modified S type Bedford cab.
Degsy
They were very common way back in my youth.
uw167
Welch had a WLF pre nationalisation. It ran from BRS Foxton until sale to Wynn's. It was used to rebuild one of Wynn's later WLFs. Registered GER880.
Petelgv1
That's very interesting, I'll ask Ron if he can shed more light on that. Thanks
