Jessie The Jeep
It had to be done! Wifey woke up this morning, checked to see if the car was frozen, and it was raining. An hour later when she was about to go to work, everything outside was white! So after her 30 minute aborted attempt at going to work, I got the GPW out for a spin. I've had the M201 in the snow a few times, but hadn't had a chance to get the GPW out for some pictures. It was still a blizzard when I left, but with possible rain later risking washing the snow away, I wasn't taking any chances. I wanted to get to some country lanes for the pictures, but many of the main roads I wanted to use were solid, stationary traffic all backed up from the A1(M), so I ended up having a ten mile drive around Washington and Springwell to get to where I wanted. As I stood in the blizzard taking photos, I got a number of smiles and waves from those passing by.

Jessie The Jeep
If I had, I would have been beaten to death or blinded by the huge wet snowflakes that seemed be driven at about 50mph by the wind. I was getting a lot of snow build up on the wipers, and had to hose off huge chunks of ice from the wheel arches and axles when I got home.
