Rangie Posted October 26, 2015 Share Posted October 26, 2015 (edited) Hi Folks, Stripping an MJ Chassis for shot blasting and the question of the chassis plate has cropped up. For those unsure, it is a fairly thick anodised alloy plate with the info stamped into it, which has then been bonded/stuck to the chassis. I haven't tried anything yet, unsure as to wheter its stuck with that heavy duty double-sided foam pad stuff or bonded with something else. Any experience with them? The plates in the cab have come off with the help of a hot air gun, they were only lightly glued/attached. Alec.
