I am currently restoring a 1939 Ariel VH that was supplied to the C.I.S.T (Ministry Of Supply) in Sept 1939, being one of 207 VH's supplied at this time outside of a W/NG contract. It was 'civilian' registered in Plymouth in 1944. It's military history is unknown. I am hoping that I can glean some further information from forum members.
