swoop2
Terry, just a thought, the Gca interconnect cable and the thermocouple cable haven't been fitted to the wrong plugs on the Mecu have they? Note the orientation of the two middle pins,it could explain issues seen. I'm not sure if this is possible.....they may be different gender altogether...it was a while ago. terryb
Pics attached of the mecu, old GCA, and currently installed one-just noticed fuse on mecu-does this protect whole of mecu, as I seem to remember there are 3 different compartments, I think gearbox, engine and IMH? thanks
swoop2
The fuse on gca only does Svm (sensor vehicle motion which would go up into the turret to tell the turret/gun drives/fire control system that the vehicle is moving. Fuse on menu? Don't recall but it would be imh I believe if fitted...... Mecu is devided into 3 compartments, middle is power supplies, engine control one side and imh.
